Has anyone tried any good cosmetics to cover dark circles under the eyes?

Skin under the eye is very thin. When blood passes through the large veins close to the surface of the skin it can produce a bluish tint. The more transparent your skin the darker the circles appear. Also if you are exposed to the sun, even in people with darker skin, exposure to sunlight, especially during the summer months, can cause a higher-than-normal level of skin pigmentation (melanin) under the eyes. The same principle applies to the skin under the eyes. Also lack of a balanced diet, the lack of nutrients in the diet can contribute to the discoloration of the area under the eyes. And also fatigue and lack of sleep eventhough i understand we cannot always sleep a lot, but this is a fact, lack of sleep or excessive tiredness can cause paleness of the skin, which again allows the blood underneath the skin to become more visible and appear darker. The skin can also become paler during pregnancy and menstruation, which again allows the underlying veins under the eyes to become more visible. If you have a tendency to have dark circles under your eyes, as you grow older, they are likely to become more noticeable and permanent. The thinning of skin under the eyes will also make dark circles more pronounced. Puffiness or fullness of the skin under the eyes can be due to a number of causes. If mild, these changes are usually temporary and don't require medical treatment. Causes may include changes in your body's fluid balance such as due to weather changes, travel or hormone fluctuations. If itching or redness accompanies the puffiness, it may be due to an allergy. I use and love Arbonne's NutriMinC庐 RE9 REpair, Corrective Eye Cr猫me, (i buy it online at: http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com under shop online) you will enjoy immediate visibly firming and moisturizing benefits. This formula moisturizes the delicate skin around the eyes and reduces the appearance of dark circles and puffiness. the best thing is that they are formulatted with botanical principles and formulatted without mineral oil, animal prooducts or fragrances which all these ingredients are very harmfull for our skin.. Mineral oil is the 2nd worse thing we could do to our skins health for it is like rubbing car oil on our skin and exposing ourselfes to the sun, animal products come from dead animals and these come from rendering plants these plants pick all dead animal and dead animal parts (from meat houses, etc.) and they put it in a huge pot, squash everything and boils it, what ever comes to the top is the oil other companies use to elaborate thier products, gross I know...the lipstick... ewww anyway, that is why i use botanically based products which is way much better because they get absorbed and the nutrients inside the products is what helps our skin look and feel healthy...they are not sold in stores but it is a great way to buy becasue they have this money back guarantee if for some reason there is something you do not like from the products you get your money back guarantee (within 45 days from purchase) so you have nothing to loose, only the dark circles;).... I know the info is too much but hope this is helpfull!!!Has anyone tried any good cosmetics to cover dark circles under the eyes?
benefit has a good one but cant remember the name. its a bit pricey but will last for ages so its worth it. ask at a benefit counter - most boots have them- and they will help youHas anyone tried any good cosmetics to cover dark circles under the eyes?
concealers ask in your pharmacy they'l advise u, x
Mary kay has a great product- It used to be the yellow concealer- I think that they have replaced it with a new product.
this article has a peice on bags under the eyes and how to help it. you could try more sleep or more water intake for each day.
For a cosmetic use a good concelar by Bare Esencutals or Maybelline or just a brand you trust then during the night or relaxing time use cucumbers and teabags {one or both} and you should look great!!

P.S. Try Bare Esenctuals ';well rested'; my mother just bought it and its amazing!!
'Touche Eclat' or Boots' cheaper equivalent: No 7 Instant Radiance Concealer - it works!
Try Preparation H. Seriously! Just don't brush your teeth with it.
Out of the shadows by Virgin cosmetics is excellent - just as good as Touche Eclat but half the price. Could not go out without it (sad huh!!)
Clinique does a really good one
small fresh cucumber pieces left on your eyes 4 10 min
you only need to consider one thing; Touche Eclait by YSL. nothing else comes close.
oh yea I use this yellow swirl stupp that comes in a water drop shaped little bottle %26amp; its like yellow concealer.. I love it sorry i am not at home or else i could tell you who makes it! But its only about 5 dollars %26amp; works wonders!
lancome stuff is great!!!!
bobbi brown has the best ones.
I used to have some Joe Blasco makeup that covred really well. I use Mac now because there's no place that sells Joe Blasco and I hate to buy makeup off the internet without being able to try out the color to see if it works for my skin tone.
The best thing that works for me is a Body Shop product called ';Lightening Touch'; that comes in 2 shades. It seems to be a highlighter and concealer in one, and really seems to make the dark circles MUCH less noticeable but doesn't clog or crease....not too expensive either!
ive tried that nivea eye shadow cream and the garnier one in the long tube and it really makes your eyes look a lot fresh and no dark cicles in a matter of days well bout a week.
Try Yves St Laurant Touche Eclait. Its about 拢20 but works wonders
You can use a concealer and apply with your fingertip in a dotting motion instead of blending it.
Dulux 'One Coat' should do the trick. 拢13.99 for 5 litres.
Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer
Hi angie; the best thing that i have found and have used now for 6months is the treatment cream from avon, the white cream is for dark circles and the orange gel is to help with eyelid sagginess. it is wonderful, and you can use it under makeup, or all natural. good luck
you can always use cover up to hide dark circles but the best way it to treat them or prevent them. Prevent them with sleep. Treat them with fres cucumbers I know it sounds old fashioned but it works and helps relax you. The quicker option is mary kay indulge eye gel, it's one of their less expensive products that works quickly and the container will last you for monthes.
Origins has the best ones.
Depending on how dark they are, try using a YELLOW concealer. I found that works best for me.
Mary Kay's MK Signature Concealer in yellow. It really hides the dark circles and blends well with foundations.
Touche Eclat from Yves St. Laurnet. This is the best thing ever made. It's a complete miracle working tool. Expensive-but you only need a little bit, and it really works.
Try Mary kay yellow concealer http://www.marykay.com/s_azad/color/conc鈥?/a>
The Body Shop under eye lightening is very very good.
I use an eye cream from Molten Brown (UK) and it makes the puffiness go away and it helps with the darkness too. I also use Clinque concealer.
