It depends on the chemical makeup of the kajal (tradition kajal contains lead).





However, you are supposed to put your makeup on AFTER you put your contacts on. So it should be perfectly safe to apply your makeup while wearing contacts.





I also put my kajal on while wearing my contacts without any problem.
